What should YOU listen to me?
Eight years ago, before I moved to the US, my life was a financial mess. I had lost all my clients in Taiwan, my sales had dropped significantly, and I couldn’t work. As a result, I had no income and had to move in with my in-laws, bringing along my two pets. I was drowning in debt, with $9k in credit card debt, and had to take out a $15k personal loan to help cover expenses while I went back to school. The cherry on top was the car that I could barely afford, and my diet consisted mainly of dollar meals from McDonald’s. I couldn’t afford to take any trips out of state and had to put all my dreams on hold.
But now, fast forward eight years later, and my life is drastically different. I have a six-figure income and can afford to live a comfortable life. After two and a half years of living with my in-laws, my husband and I finally moved out and have since owned several homes. I was able to pay off my credit card debt in about a year, and my personal loan in just two years. I even paid my car note early! I no longer have to eat at fast-food restaurants, and I can enjoy five-star restaurants if I want to. My husband and I also take at least two big trips out of state and one small one yearly. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far I’ve come from where I was eight years ago. And now it’s your turn
